Finger keys
Burg-Wächter presents fingerprint technology as a prototype applied to two safes and an electronic door lock taken from its standard programme. The technology is made possible by a minute camera in the vicinity of the lock. The optical device records the unique network of lines on the user’s finger as an image that is then processed by computer and compared with previously stored data. Only if these match will the door or the safe actually open.
New look
HDM Holz Dammers has increased the variety of decorative finishes available in its Elesgo range of laminate flooring by the addition of a stone effect for sophisticated living areas. This is available in seven different patterns. The surface of the floor is high-gloss, easy-care and hard wearing. The company’s special “Click” process makes it quick and simple to lay. It is suitable for all living areas, can be walked on straight after laying and even re-laid at any time.
Trendy decorating
New to Saarpor’s range is the “Decosa exclusive” line of decorative mouldings and rosettes. The decorative elements are made of polystyrene with the appearance of  polyurethane, which makes the products affordable for broad categories of consumers. The ornamental mouldings, rosettes and corners – both internal and external – are carefully coordinated. Saapor offers a tailor-made sales-enhancing package for the POS, which includes consumer literature and shelf talkers.
Firmly in place
Fischer’s Power-Injection extends the range of products available for DIY superstores. During the development of this injection anchor, special emphasis was put on providing a self-explanatory mode of operation, simplicity of handling and ecologically harmless ingredients. The solution developed by the company has simplified the work process, since a static mixer is used to press the mortar out of the injection cartridge, making a grouting gun superfluous.
New drive technology
A newly developed posidrive technology is applied to the “suki.system” chipboard screw. The core of the innovation is a posidrive with anti-camout ribs in the bit for positive locking and grip in the screw head. The deep seat of the bit ensures optimum transmission of energy, prevents slippage and, most importantly, allows for overhead working with one hand. Merchandising systems that can be used internationally have been specially developed for the range.
