Additions to range
Briwax has added several new colours to the Original Wax Polish range: Teak, Antique Pine and Dark Oak. This means that consumers now have a choice of twelve different colours. What is more, the company has also introduced Briwax Floor Wax as a finish for natural hardwood floors. This product can be used on both old and new floors, is simple to apply and made according to a special formula that means it dries quickly. It produces a soft sheen on the surfaces treated.

Alternative to hardwood
Aikona has developed a vinyl composite floor covering that looks like real wood but will not deteriorate when exposed to sunlight or water. The hardwearing flooring is available in the form of planks to resemble wood. These are approx. 72 cm wide and 5 mm thick, and are available in one or three metre lengths. The flooring comes in a variety of different colours and also in a version that includes a caulking stripe, which is designed to create a nautical atmosphere. The slightly grained surface can be left rough or sanded to give a gloss finish.
