Now available from Rigips is “Uniboard”, a plasterboard that is easy to transport and work with because of its manageable size (90 cm x 125 cm). The sheets consist of a gypsum core sandwiched between precoated board. This results in the creation of a smooth surface after installation, which makes it unnecessary to prime the wall in preparation for applying wallpaper. Bevelled lateral edges and half-round longitudinal edges simplify the process of filling and sealing the wall.

Care kit for convertibles
Caramba is offering a new care kit for convertible roofs that consists of a cleaning product and a waterproofing agent. The cleaner works with a mild and gentle action, making it suitable for use on all textile convertible hoods. When used regularly it will preserve the original colour of the roof and protect it from the effects of the weather. The impregnating spray, which has been developed with the aid of new nanotechnology, penetrates deep into the fabric to provide good protection against rain and dampness. In spite of this, though, the fabric still remains supple.

Motip Dupli expects to set new standards worldwide in the field of spray paint with the introduction of its “Dupli-Color platinum” line. The manufacturers claim that the advantages range from the product’s extreme hiding power, through to its special pressure system, and on to a variable spray intensity and short drying time. This new spray paint is available in a choice of 50 colours and a silk lustre or high-gloss finish. The company expects that demand for the product will be strong, especially from professional users.

Hammer drill bit with multi-step helix
The multi-step helix that is a feature of the MS5 SDS-plus hammer drill bit reduces the vibration loads generated during drilling so that the life of the bit is increased. The relatively large flutes reduce the torsion load and thus prevent the accumulation and explosive expulsion of spoil. Owing to the stepped helical shape, the impact energy is better transmitted, which leads to higher drilling speeds. The drill bit has homogenous step transitions and additional strengthening of the core.
