Rechargeable lightPractically unlimited operational life and totally independent of any external power source – these are the working features of the LED “Universal” dynamo light from Ampercell. It has five white LEDs that give a very bright light. The four rechargeable nickel metal hydride batteries are integrated into the light and can be recharged either through a 12V vehicle socket or by means of the integrated hand-cranked dynamo. Floors for the health-consciousHDM has developed its “Wellness floor – extra sensitive” to meet the growing needs of particularly health-conscious consumers. It is a type of laminate flooring that emits no measurable amount of formaldehyde pollution. According to the certificate issued by an independent German testing institute, the formaldehyde content was measured at below 0.005 ppm. New pump seriesAl-Ko’s new Jet F series of garden pumps for irrigating, draining and pumping over can also be used as booster pumps. They all feature a large-volume filter and a check valve as standard. The filter can be cleaned without removing the suction device. There are three models to choose from: models 1000 and 1300 have a single-stage pump drive and a maximum flow rate of 4 000 and 5 000 l/h respectively. The top-of-the-range model, the Jet F 1400, features a five-stage pump drive and achieves a maximum flow rate of 6 000 l/h.www.al-ko.de
Mini scaffold for DIYersNew to Hailo’s programme is the “HobbyStep” mini scaffold, which is suitable for working up to a maximum height of 3 m. It also offers a firm and steady base when erected on stairs. The scaffolding is based on aluminium stiles made from rectangular tubing. The 125 cm x 50 cm working platform can be fixed at the required height by slotting it into the perforations in the stiles. The platform has a maximum load capacity of 150 kg. There is a rail to provide the necessary safety element when working at a height. The mini scaffold weighs a total of just under 13 kg. www.hailo.de
