Now the company wants to continue the success story of the Vector brand in Europe as well, offering battery chargers, jump starters, spotlights, a power inverter and a thermoelectric cool box. The emergency help required for breakdowns is provided by the BDV030 and BDV012 mobile energy stations. The BDV030 power charger is suitable for rapidly charging an empty 12 V battery. The BDV012 mobile jump-start system, which will supply 450 amp if required, can be used even single-handedly; it enables vehicles to be restarted within seconds. It features a reverse-polarity warning alarm as well. Three other models can provide between 2 and 80 amp according to the individual application for all 12 V batteries, which makes them suitable both for conservation of charge and for charging. Their safety features reduce the danger of reverse hook-up, sparking and short-circuiting. The BDV066 is a 400 W power inverter designed for life on the go. It converts 12 volt DC power into 230 volt AC household power, making it possible to plug 230 volt appliances into 12 volt batteries in the car, caravan or truck. Three cordless, rechargeable spotlights with halogen quartz bulbs provide light (either 7 000, 10 000 or 14 000 lux) when there is a power failure in the home, or for campers and sailors. The BDV156 features a three-stage dimmer as well. By contrast, the BDV157 has an LED light on each side to conserve power when a bright beam is not required. The BDV158 offers a choice of single or double beam, and the LED lights on each side can be operated either individually or both at once. All the spotlights come with a 12 volt and 230 volt adapter for recharging at home or on the go. Useful for keeping drinks cool or baby food warm: the BDV212F thermoelectric cool and warm box. It can heat up to 48°C and cool down to 27°C below the ambient temperature (to minus 3°C), even allowing for making and storing ice cubes. After determining the ambient temperature, the box simply regulates itself. It has a capacity of nine litres and can be plugged into any 12 volt vehicle battery, switching off automatically if the voltage gets too low.
