The Domotex trade fair, which will take place in Hanover again from 11 – 14 January 2014, will be giving greater priority to the latest trends in the industry. New products are to be moved into prominent focus by means of the “Innovations@Domotex” concept. As the organisers, Deutsche Messe AG, explain, by this means the leading international fair for carpets and floor coverings can offer companies a variety of possibilities for presenting their innovations and design highlights in an eye-catching way. “With this new formula we are targeting our investment in the quality of the event,” says Dr Jochen Köckler, member of the board of Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover. The spotlight will be on innovative products in the fields of carpeting, elastic floor coverings, parquet and laminate, as well as modern handmade carpets. The intention is to turn the Wood Flooring Summit into a highlight once again. Hanover will see a repeat performance of this summit for the parquet and laminate industry, following its premiere in 2012. A great number of companies, including Berry Floor, Boen Parkett, Egger, Fetim, Hamberger, Kaindl, Krono Gruppe Schweiz, Meisterwerke, Parador and Tarkett, have already confirmed their participation. It will be found on a centrally located special area in Hall 9. That is also where there will be a forum for presentations and panel discussions. Domotex is regarded as the leading international fair for carpets and floor coverings. This year’s event attracted 1 350 exhibitors from 60 countries to Hanover to display their products and collections. More than 80 per cent of these participants came from abroad. Download:
