B&Q on Asian fact-finding tour

The Brits are currently taking a close look at the market potential of other Asian regions

B&Q is giving consideration to the expansion of its activities in Asia. Under investigation at present is the market potential in north-east and south-east Asia, as well as in India and Oceania. At this year’s conference of the BHMMA (British Hardware & Housewares Manufacturers’ Association) Steve Gilman, international director of B&Q, named these regions as the target areas for the company’s pan-Asian strategy.
