Partial victory for Castorama

Castorama has won a partial victory in the row over its acquisition by Kingfisher. The two companies have reached an agreement to authorise the independent bank Rothschild & Co. to assess Kingfisher’s takeover bid instead of Schroder Salomon Smith Barney.
