Customer barometer points to brightening skies over the DIY sector: customers are more satisfied

The outlook for Austrian DIY stores is becoming brighter, according to the recently published customer barometer. Market researchers Kreutzer, Fischer & Partner report that all suppliers have recorded an increase in satisfaction. According to the report, 64 per cent of customers were “wholly” or “very” satisfied with the service at the last DIY store they visited. This equates to an increase of seven percentage points compared with 2001. OBI has the most satisfied customers (72 per cent), followed by Lagerhaus (70 per cent) and Baumax (62 per cent).
