“Go to Bratislava”

There are only “limited possibilities” for any further expansion within Austria in the opinion of Hagebau. This statement was made by Helmut Kus, managing director of the cooperative’s Austrian central office, in an interview with diy-Branchenmagazin. Instead, attempts are being made to encourage members to become involved in the neighbouring countries to the east. Kus underlined the group’s attitude with his declaration: “I say straight out, go to Bratislava.” The complete interview is published in the September issue of diy-Branchemagazin.
