Home Depot’s female customers are being prepared for DIY projects by special clinics for women

In its efforts to attract female customers, Home Depot is going one step further this week: “do-it-herself” clinics for women are due to be held nationally in all stores for the first time on 14 May. Here the participants learn how to use power tools, build a patio or install outdoor lighting. In deciding the content of these workshops, the company is reflecting the results of a survey undertaken among women on the subject of home maintenance skills.
