Second date in Hong Kong

Two events held concurrently, the Hong Kong Houseware Fair and Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, will be held for a second time from 23 to 26 July 2003. This new date was offered in a letter at the beginning of April by the organisers, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), because of the SARS problem. Nearly 3 700 exhibitors decided in favour of the later date, about 1 400 of them from abroad. Around 1 000 exhibitors cancelled. In late April 468 companies displayed their products to more than 13 300 visitors.
