Lasselsberger and Knauf, two companies that are united by a joint venture agreement, are currently establishing their fourth plant for the manufacture of plaster and mortar in Hungary. An announcement on this move says that the intention is to achieve greater proximity to DIY stores for the do-it-yourself business. The plant, which will account for an investment volume of approximately six million euros, is being established in the east Hungarian town of Debrecen. It will have a capacity of around 180 000 tons, according to information supplied by managing director Manfred Winkler.
