Bookings for Las Vegas

30.07.2003

About one third of American firms had turned their backs on the old-style show

More than 400 exhibitors have already registered for the National Hardware Show, which will next year be held at a new date in May (10 to 12 May 2004) and in Las Vegas for the first time. They have booked over 9 000 m² of stand space, which corresponds to about a quarter of the exhibition area at this year’s fair, which is being held in August for the last time in Chicago and in partnership with the AHMA. The organisers Reed Exhibitions emphasise in a statement that about 30 per cent of the domestic exhibitors are companies that had turned their backs on the event over the last few years. In addition to the advantages offered by the new venue and the new date, the organisers stress the fact that stand prices have been reduced by 30 per cent. The fair will be held in competition with the AHMA Hardware Show from 18 to 20 April 2004, which will remain true to Chicago.
