Hafin strengthens market position

Hafin, the Netherlands manufacturer of synthetic garden furniture, will take over the Belgian company, Lawn Comfort, as of 1 October 2003. Hafin has positioned itself in the lower pricing segment of the European market with Flair, whereas the Lawn Comfort brand name serves the middle segment. The two brands will in future be managed side by side, with the result that Hafin will improve its position in the European garden furniture market.
