A total of around 750 exhibitors have said they will be coming to the two trade affairs in Hong Kong, International Hardware & Home Improvement and International Lighting, which are being jointly staged for the first time this year. More than 130 of the total are categorised as part of the DIY sector, which is the Hardware & Home Improvement Fair. The presence of 131 companies and 3 734 buyers from 75 countries was recorded last year. The majority of products displayed came from the hardware category at 36.5 per cent, followed by plumbing and bathroom equipment at 12.6 per cent, DIY products at 12.2 per cent and gardening implements at 11.3 per cent. New segments this year include automotive spare parts and accessories, door and window accessories, and architectural ironmongery.
