New DIY fair in France

There is going to be a new DIY trade fair in France. This will be the result of turning the Salon du Bricolage et de la Décoration into a new segment of the furnishing fair in Paris, to be held from 8 to 12 January 2004. On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 January the show will be open to the public. In future the event is to be held every two years. It offers an exhibition space amounting to 3 500 m². The organisers, Compagnie d’organisation des salons des professionels (COSP), is expecting 150 exhibitors and 35 000 visitors, of whom 10 000 will be trade representatives, to attend the event. Around 40 500 trade visitors came to the Salon du Meuble in January 2003.
