Higher attendance figures expected

Around 75 000 visitors and 3 700 exhibitors are expected by Koelnmesse to attend the next International Hardware Fair/Practical World between 14 and 17 March 2004. This year a total of 68 000 visitors made their way to Cologne. The fair will be divided into three segments: the World of Tools (1 900 suppliers), the World of Security, Locks and Fittings (500 exhibitors) and the World of Home Improvement/DIY (1 300 companies). At a preview of the next event, the organisers emphasised the “impeccable trade fair character” of the event with its “concentration on wholesale and retail business”.
