More traders in Paris

This year saw considerably more visitors from the wholesale and retail sectors, and from the DIY multiples, come to Batimat. They accounted for a share of 21.39 per cent of all visitors, compared with 16.50 per cent two years ago. Altogether 475 327 visitors travelled to Paris for the building trade fair held from 3 to 8 November 2003, or four per cent more than in 2001. International visitors from abroad amounted to 17 per cent. The number of exhibitors went up by almost ten per cent from 2 428 to 2 664, of whom 43 per cent (33 per cent in 2001) came from outside France.
