The exhibition space of the National Hardware Show, which will be held at the new venue in Las Vegas for the first time next May is 82 per cent booked up. Nearly 1 600 manufacturers have registered already. According to information from the organisers, Reed Exhibitions, around one-third of the exhibitors from the USA are either new to the fair or had suspended their participation at this year’s event. On the commercial side there are just under 4 500 visitor registrations, including companies like Home Depot, Lowe’s and Ace Hardware. Apparently the Industry Summit on Home Improvement, which offers more than 60 different educational events, is proving to be a special attraction for visitors.
