A survey reveals that repair and maintenance jobs are no longer exclusively a male preserve

American homeowners are capable of tackling very many of the repair and maintenance jobs that crop up by themselves. According to a survey commissioned by the Sears retail group, the majority of these homeowners would give themselves and their skills a “B” for such work. And almost three-quarters of those questioned declare that they are happy to do it. Only a minority of respondents thinks that jobs around the house are for men only.
