More rumours about a Kingfisher takeover

According to a press report, Home Depot is considering making a takeover bid for Kingfisher. An article in yesterday’s issue of the Observer, a UK Sunday newspaper, reports that information from Wall Street investment bankers suggests that the world market leader from the USA is prepared to offer £ eight billion (€ 11 billion) for the biggest European DIY retail group. Recently rumours of a takeover surfaced yet again at the beginning of December.
