Ace Hardware has gained a partner in this Arab kingdom
Interior decoration products come almost entirely from import sources in Saudi Arabia. There is also a demand for paint and chemical products from abroad. The Federal German Agency for External Trade (BFAI) reports that the construction boom in this country, which has been in evidence for the past two years, is still continuing at present. This is also true of the housing construction industry as a result of the strong growth in population.
Saco, a company that was established in 1985 and is a member of Ace Hardware, the internationally active American cooperative group, regards itself as a pioneer in the country’s hardware business. It currently operates 13 retail outlets in the kingdom. Head office is located in the capital of Riyadh.
