New COO at Ace

Ray A. Griffith, 50, has been appointed to the positions of new executive vice president and chief operating officer at Ace Hardware. In addition to his existing functions in the retail business, which include retail operations, development, company stores, advertising, public relations and marketing, he will now have responsibility for retail support, logistics and the paint divisions of the globally active cooperative. Griffith has been with the company in a number of capacities since 1994.
