Cancellation of Utrecht fair

The DIY & Hardware fair scheduled for September in the Dutch city of Utrecht will not now take place. The organisers, VNU Exhibitions, complain of a lack of interest on the part of exhibitors. It has been revealed that so far only 40 bookings have been made, despite an intensive marketing campaign, a clear fair concept and reasonable stand prices. However, the Garden Expo trade fair organised in Utrecht at the same time by VTB is to be staged according to the original schedule between 12 and 14 September.
