Quester in cooperation with NBB

Bauprofi Quester, the Austrian builders’ merchant chain, and NBB, the German franchise company, have established a joint subsidiary company. This is a service and distribution organisation called “Dienstleistungs- und Vertriebssysteme für den Handel GmbH” and is based at Salburg-Anif. The aim is to develop the Bauprofi outlets as combination stores offering DIY, gardening and pet assortments. Quester will in future take over the Bauspezi system available from NBB for its specialist stores without building materials. The builders’ merchants are to remain in the marketplace under the Bauprofi brand name, and can be individually complemented by the addition of NBB’s specialist shop-within-a-shop concepts such as Gartenspezi (gardening), Fliesenprofi (tiling), Holzpoint (timber), Kiebitzshop (pets) or Angelspezi (fishing).
