New opening for Mestre Maco

The Portuguese operator of DIY stores, Mestre Maco, has opened a new DIY store with a retail area of about 2 000 m² at Vila Real in the north of Portugal. Consequently its total number of DIY stores is up to 18 and combined retail space to just under 52 000 m² with the opening of this outlet in mid-October. For the coming year the company, which belongs to the Spanish buying cooperative Brico Group, has plans to open four more new stores.
