Company results for 2004

Tarkett AG increased sales in the 2004 financial year by 3 per cent to € 1 436.8 mio (5.1 per cent in constant currencies). Sales of flexible floor coverings for the trade sector were up by 4 per cent, but the figure was down by 1.2 per cent in the case of timber. Laminate sales experienced an increase of 39.3 per cent. Western Europe overall showed an increase of 3.5 per cent (Germany 3.1 per cent). EBITA for 2004 came to € 97.3 mio, making it 7 per cent below the previous year's result. Despite this, the net result increased by 0.47 per cent to € 42.5 mio.
