Lighting for self-installation

Artilux has specialised in the manufacture of large quantities of lighting products at internationally competitive prices. Its biggest customer is IKEA

The Anderstorp-based company was founded in 1981, its first cabinet light sold in 1989 and the bankrupt Antoson company acquired in 1995. This, claims Artilux, is what made it into a leading manufacturer of cabinet lighting. However, the product programme includes not only cabinet lighting but also picture lights, spotlights and decorative ceiling and table lamps.
New to the programme are two models that are simple to install and suitable for various types of furniture: these lights can be fixed in cupboards, display cabinets and bookshelves, or audio, TV and computer units. The fixings supplied with the products also allow for externally mounting the light onto shelves. With regard to energy consumption, the lights are designed for use either with traditional bulbs or energy-saving versions.
A merchandiser is available to enable the product presentation to attract maximum attention. This is intended to offer retailers good sales potential and efficient handling. “Cooperation with our suppliers has resulted in a product that is not only competitive in price but also very good where both quality and performance are concerned,” in the considered opinion of Jörgen Hurtig, marketing director of the company.
