Ventilation Systems started up production in Ukraine nine years ago. Today the company is one of the leading manufacturers in this segment worldwide
The production of ventilation systems under the “Vents” brand name began in 1997 with two thermoplastic machines and some compression moulds. Since that time, the Kiev-based company has experienced meteoric development. Today a workforce in excess of 1 000 produces 3.5 mio parts monthly on 65 injection moulding machines. According to information provided by the company, more than six per cent of the global volume of fans for domestic applications are produced at their works. The high level of quality management required by Ventilation Systems has resulted in their achieving a complaints figure of just 0.002 per cent. The ISO 9001 certified company’s products come with a five-year guarantee.
Production is carried out in ten departments, each of which can be compared with a small business. The company produces 98.9 per cent of its range, or 28 000 parts. The product spectrum grows by 35 per cent every year, and sales go up by 75 per cent through vigorous expansion of the distribution network. When the business was established, one of the criteria was that engineering, commercial, logistical and production units were all to be combined under the one roof, in order to guarantee the best possible communication and to be in a position to offer customers the best possible products and solutions.
The company attaches great importance to the active support of its business partners. Sales packaging can be individually designed, and merchandising solutions can be tailored to the retail partner’s floorspace concept. Also available is appropriate POS material.
The inventory includes household fans, flexible air ducts with or without heat insulation, and in aluminium as well, metal and plastic ventilation grilles, disk valves, ceiling diffusers and joining elements.
New to the programme is an axial ventilator that is chrome-coloured and also available in many other colours. It is made from ABS plastic, has seven blower wheels, and can be attached to either the wall or the ceiling.
