More than 30 000 trade visitors came to Valencia between 18 and 20 October to attend Eurobrico and Iberflora, and an increase of 25 per cent in the number of foreign buyers attending was registered compared with the previous year. The 200 exhibitors at the Eurobrico DIY show occupied an exhibition area of 20 000 m2. The show provided the perfect opportunity for El Corte Inglés to unveil its new distribution channel Bricor, the first large-format outlet of which is expected to open this month. The first public presentation of the pan-European buying cooperative Bricoalliance, formed in September 2006, also attracted considerable attention. Bricoalliance has brought together the Brico Group from Spain, Hubo of Belgium, Mestre Maco (IZI), Portugal and Punto Legno of Italy.
