Relocation pays off

Fair organisers Brintex recorded 6 116 visitors to the Totally DIY/Tools/Secure multi-trade show from 6 to 8 February 2011, as well as 140 exhibitors. This demonstrates that the move away from London, where the event was staged until 2009, to Birmingham to be staged in parallel to the Spring Fair “continues to prove its worth to visitors and suppliers”, in the words of exhibition director James Murray. Next year the event is due to move to Hall 16, because the Spring Fair is also relocating. The volume halls are then to be Halls 10, 11 and 12, which will put them closer to the Totally shows.
