The Russian home improvement sector meets at the DIY and Household Retail Congress
Prominent speakers from the Russian and international DIY scene will appear at the DIY and Household Retail Congress 2014 in Moscow on 29 and 30 May. The list of speakers includes Ian Strickland, CEO of Obi, Alexey Iovlev, CEO of Metrika, Roman Nikonorov, general director of Start, Vencant Gentil, CEO of Leroy Merlin, Ilya Kornukhov, CEO of DIY Union, Konstantin Nadezhdin, CEO of Stroydepo, Laurie Altman, vice president and general manager of 3M, George Adams, managing director of J. W. Ostendorf UK and Alisdair Gray of the European DIY Retail Association Edra.
The organiser B2BCG, which has been organising the annual congress for eight years, expects around 550 delegates from trade and industry to attend. In addition to 40 or so presentations, the programme includes a session with direct discussions with manufacturers and buyers.
