Opening in Tokyo

Today in Tokyo the jointly organised trade fairs Tool Japan, Gardex, Ifex und Agriworld got underway. The event was organised by Reed Exhibitions Japan. A total of 1 470 companies from 25 countries are exhibiting at the three day event at the Makuhari trade fair. Tool Japan is being held for the fourth time. Approximately 210 exhibitors are represented in this sector. Gardex is exhibiting for the eighth time and lists about 250 exhibitors. Ifex has the biggest proportion of exhibitors (530 companies), which is being held for the eleventh time. The remaining 480 companies are exhibiting at Agriworld. The trade fair opening was carried out by 53 representatives from various industries from Japan, as well as representatives of international exhibitor groups. The Japanese DIY companies have recorded a stable or slightly declining sales trend in their Business-to-Customer sector. On the other hand, their sales are rising in the Business-to-Business sector.
