Bunnings denies withdrawal of Managing Director UK and Ireland

Bunnings has countered speculation about the withdrawal of Peter PJ Davis as Managing Director of Bunnings UK and Ireland. When asked by DIYinternational.com, Davis confirmed that he will be taking an extended break and that during this time Damian McGloughlin, previously Retail Director of UK & Ireland with the competition and British market leader B&Q, will be representing him as managing director. This will be for three months from mid January. Reports that he will resign from his post are described by Davis as misleading.
