The last Canadian Lowe's stores become Rona+

The Canadian Rona Group is finalising the conversion of the locations previously operated as Lowe's stores to the new Rona+ brand. The last 13 locations in the province of Alberta are to be rebranded on 29 February 2024, the company has said. Rona announced the conversion of the 56 Lowe's stores in June. The first locations were then reopened under Rona+ in July. The US DIY chain Lowe's acquired the Canadian cooperation Rona in 2016, but sold it to the investment company Sycamore Partners in 2022.
