The Vietnamese operations of home goods retailer Mr. DIY will have 25 outlets at the close of 2024, an executive of the group said. Leo Gan, Mr. DIY Malaysia chief operating officer (COO), disclosed in a LinkedIn post that Mr. DIY Vietnam, which started operations in August last year, will be opening 15 outlets this year.
"One year ago, we opened our first Mr. DIY store in Vietnam… and we're set to end the year with over 25! Proud of the team's growth and commitment. Onwards and upwards!," Gan, who was head of business development before his promotion to COO, wrote.
Based on information posted on the company’s website, Mr. DIY Vietnam opened in three locations this month, bringing its total store count to 21. Of these, twelve are standalone outlets, while nine are mall-based.
