Gardena's net sales fell by 11 per cent to SEK 2.037 bn (approx. EUR 178 mio) in the third quarter of 2024, as reported by the Swedish parent company Husqvarna in its quarterly report. The Group combines its consumer business in the Gardena Division. Organic sales fell by 8 per cent, with exchange rate changes having an impact of -3 per cent.
Hand tools and battery-powered products recorded good growth. Due to the difficult weather conditions at the start of the quarter, sales of irrigation products initially declined, but gradually improved over the course of the quarter.
In the current financial year 2024, Gardena is looking at a decline in net sales of 5 per cent to SEK 11.016 billion (around EUR 965 mio). Organic sales also fell by 5 per cent, while the currency effect was neutral.
For the 2025 season, Gardena is expanding its range to include new robotic mowers, including three models that work without a boundary wire.
