DIY in Europe: Reports about Gamma over recent years have been nothing but positive.
Rudi Petit-Jean: Company figures for the years from 1999 to 2003 show that Gamma Belgium has seen above-average development over this period, with almost a doubling of the group’s sales figures. Each of the Gamma stores achieves sales of around € 2.6 mio on an average retail space of 1 500  m² (with some up to 5 000  m² in size). This is considerably more than that achieved by the closest competitor, Hubo, which records sales of € 1.7 mio on an average store area of 2 500  m².
