The group stands for European suppliers at this year’s Hardware Show in Las Vegas are being organised by one German and two British associations. The exhibitors from the United Kingdom are coming under the auspices of the BHHMA (British Hardware and Housewares Manufacturers’ Association) and of Gardenex (Federation of Garden & Leisure Manufacturers), a British export organisation for the garden industry. The German group stand has once more come about on the initiative of the Remscheid-based Association of the Machine Tool Industry (FWI). Koelnmesse International is responsible for the organisation and running of this pavilion.
German companies will be displaying their wares on a group stand at the National Hardware Show for no less than the fifth time. This year will see 20 suppliers of tools, cutters, fittings, workshop accessories, all types of hardware, plus construction chemicals and plumbing fixtures and fittings exhibiting their ranges at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The German pavilion in the Las Vegas Convention Center will display the products of 20 exhibitors.
In the Lawn & Garden section at Sands Expo Center there will be six exhibitors showing their spectrum of garden tools, potting benches and accessories for gardeners. A German information booth will also be available in the hardware section of the Las Vegas Convention Center to point out the products displayed by all the exhibitors from Germany, and to assist the American trade visitors in arranging meetings with the German participants.
Rainer Langelüddecke, director of the FWI, is convinced that products “made in Germany” will benefit from the strong demand coming from the expected 25 000 visitors to the National Hardware Show.
The Gardenex pavilion with its 16 participants is located in the Sands Convention Center.

It will include a Gardenex information booth and 16 others displaying the products of UK suppliers to the garden and leisure industry. Seven of the companies are exhibiting at the show for the first time, while others have expanded their display areas this year. The products on view range from traditional items such as tools and planters…
