New product line

The Cavatorta Group, which has its headquarters in Mosciano Sant Angelo, considers itself to be one of the leading Italian companies manufacturing arc-welded, galvanised and PVC-coated garden fences. “The quality of our products is the result of state-of-the-art technology, design reviews, exacting selection of materials, exclusive manufacturing processes and strict quality controls,” explains marketing director Enrico Gagliano.Having started up in Calestano in 1961, the group today carries out production in six factories in Italy and one in France. As Gagliano affirms, the environmental aspect has been to the fore right from the start. Investment has been made in technical developments to ensure an “ecological” manufacturing operation. This includes the two production techniques that the company has developed, Galvafort and Galvaplax. The Galvafort galvanising process results in fencing with a thicker layer of zinc than required by the European standards. The wire receives a uniform and smooth coating that will not crack, and it can be bent to an angle of 180 degrees without coming to any harm.The second process is called Galvaplax and is designed to make the fencing exceptionally strong through a combination of galvanising, primer and PVC coating. All Cavatorta’s products are guaranteed against corrosion for ten years. Now the Italian company has developed Cavatorta Bricoline, a new series for the garden and do-it-yourself that is specially geared to the DIY market. The programme, which is produced in Italy, consists of PVC-coated or galvanised steel welding wire in convenient 5 m rolls. They are suitable for building pet cages or similar projects. Also available is galvanised perimeter fencing, as well as decorative fences with a hexagonal mesh that are available vacuum packed in practical 10 m rolls. The programme is complemented by shiny PVC-coated nails in packs of 125 g to 1 000 g, as well as wire on 10 m rolls and a “Decobox” for making compost in your own garden. Finally, the fencing programme is rounded off by a selection of clamps and staples.
