Natural fertilizers with guano
Compo's new natural fertilizers with guano are guaranteed to contain 100 per cent natural ingredients. Only raw materials are used that are unconditionally suitable for ecological farming in accordance with EU Directive 834/2007. Compo's new Natur-Dünger with the elemental vitality of guano from sea birds are available as a universal fertilizer for all garden plants, and also as special fertilizers for roses and flowering shrubs, including rhododendrons, aza-leas and hydrangeas; for conifers, evergreens and hedges; for berries, fruit and special vegetables; and for tomatoes, vegetables and herbs as well.www.compo.com
2010, the year of charcoal grilling
Weber have declared 2010 to be the year of charcoal grilling. They have also introduced a new naming concept along with their new products. The old division into Silver, Gold and Platinum is being replaced by two new categories, Original and Premium. The bracket supports for the handles of all the barbecues have been lengthened and the handles themselves are now heat-protected. All the charcoal models will come complete with a measuring cup for briquettes and loose charcoal from 2010. Floating fountain pump
The EFH 500 S is a floating fountain pump designed for outdoor use all year round. If the pump is allowed to operate with one of the nozzles supplied during a frost-free period, not only will it provide a visually attractive fountain but also additional oxygen to the pond. During frost periods the fountain nozzles can simply be exchanged for a special floating attachment so the pump can be used to keep the pond free of ice. The cutting edge
Fiskars offers a complete range of axes. The heads of the five universal axes have been forged to make them both thinner and broader so that they give a clean cut in resinous green wood. Each of the four splitting axes features a wedge-shaped blade with a sharp cutting edge that slices easily into the wood before forcing it apart. The handles of all the axes are made from virtually unbreakable reinforced fibreglass polyamide (Nyglass). The manufacturer claims that this both reduces weight to a minimum and distributes it to optimum effect.
