Feria Valencia, the company organising the sixth Eurobrico from 3 – 5 November 2010, sees the event as the gateway to the Spanish market. Fair boss Luis Franco is convinced that, “Over 90 per cent of Spain’s purchasing power comes to Eurobrico. Equally, with representatives of the Spanish and Portuguese multiple retailers attending, Eurobrico is the meeting point par excellence for buyers in the Iberian Peninsula.” Moreover, buyers from big DIY chains in both Europe and the USA and Canada also come to this Spanish city on the Mediterranean. European DIY retail associations mean to attend the fair as well. The range of products covers the categories of construction, timber, electricity, tools, bathrooms and plumbing, kitchens, gardening, ironmongery, paint, décor, furniture and storage, plus air conditioning. There are plans for a programme of support activities including workshops, an innovations zone and special speakers. Taking into account the current economic situation, the fair organisers have launched a package that offers exhibitors savings of between 40 and 60 per cent off the cost of participating. This year the TCB, a trade fair for kitchens, bathrooms, refurbishing and joinery suppliers, will be staged at the same time. Download:
