Some 50 business experts from both home and abroad will be speaking at the DIY & Household Retail Forum in Moscow. “Increasing differentiation of consumer demand between regions” and “effective concepts for Russian DIY & Household logistics, strategy, management and promotions” are just some of the key themes on the agenda. Other topics up for discussion will include “barriers to, and potential areas for growth” or “the shortage of product supply and suppliers to support the growth of the market”. A first at the event will be a round table dealing with the subject of “negotiating supply”. As the preliminary programme notes, “In order to develop and improve cooperation, key retail chains will, for the first time, hold a round-table networking session with leading manufacturers and suppliers from Europe and Russia”: The forum is being organised by the British B2B Conference Group. It will be held at the Hotel Hilton Leningradskaya in Moscow on 26 and 27 May 2011. The first day of the congress will end with a gala dinner, which will provide the setting for the presentation of the National DIY & Household Awards 2011. Download:
