Favourable environment for the IPM Dubai

The green market in the United Arab Emirates is currently growing at 20 per cent annually. Annual growth of nine per cent is forecast for the cut flower market. These claims by experts are being cited by Messe Essen (Germany) as evidence of the favourable environment in which the tenth IPM Dubai is taking place. The organisers regard this trade show for plants, horticultural technology, floristry, equipment, logistics, plant care and shopfitting for the gardening and landscaping sector as the region's most important garden fair. It is taking place from 5 to 7 October 2015.

Ferroforma organisers draw a positive balance

The trade fair organisers Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) were extremely pleased with the organisation of the combined trade fairs with Ferroforma, Subcontratación, Fitmay, Pumps & Valves and Maintenance. More than 18 500 visitors were counted at the fair from 26 to 29 May 2015 in the northern Spanish city. They came from 65 countries.
A total of 355 companies from 24 countries exhibited in both industry and home sectors at Ferroforma. Visitors from more than 40 countries gathered information on products and services.
For the first time, the organisers integrated B2B meetings in the support programme and as a result approximately 1 200 direct dialogues occurred between exhibitors and visitors. The Second Innovation and Design Contest, was won by the Villahestia company with nano-textiles and leather in the DIY category. In addition, presentations were also held within this framework on such topics as e-commerce and digital marketing.
The next Ferroforma takes place from 23 to 26 May 2017.
