Market share in Austria

The DIY market in Austria had a volume of € 2.030 bn in the year 2001, which means it grew by 5.3 per cent over the previous year. As market leader in the do-it-yourself industry Baumax claimed to have earned a 26 per cent share of this market. Following in second place was RWA Lagerhaus at 15 per cent, and OBI had a twelve per cent share of sales.
