Help for flood victims

Baumax is offering those affected by flooding in Lower Austria, Upper Austria and Salzburg emergency aid in the form of a 15 per cent discount on all the articles they require. This special discount will be available until the end of August. What is more, Martin Essl, CEO of Baumax AG and vice president of the Austrian Handelsverband (retail trade association), has also used his influence to ensure that trading concerns in the flood areas open for business today, 15 August, which is a public holiday. This is the association’s way of showing its solidarity with the victims of the flood catastrophe and making sure they receive every possible support, according to Mr Essl.
