New retail format for Lapeyre

A first inner-city outlet has opened in Paris. Internet and catalogue sales offer further marketing potential

The consumer division of the Saint-Gobain subsidiary has combined its Lapeyre and GME brands to create a new retail format, Lapeyre la maison. The concept envisages the inclusion of inner-city locations. A first store incorporating the new image opened in Paris in the middle of September. The product offer includes the categories of kitchen, plumbing, furnishing and structural elements for inside and out. Groups targeted by the format are both DIYers and professionals; designed in addition to attract customers who do not want to tackle the work themselves is a comprehensive range of services. Selling is also done by mail order through an online shop at www.lapeyre.fr or by means of three newly published catalogues.
