Customised stairs
Not only is it possible to vary the rise of Kompact, the Arkè brand’s patented staircase, but the tread and hand of rotation can also be determined during the installation process, which makes it possible to implement straight flights with either one or two turns.
The staircase is available in kit form with twelve steps and banisters. Depending on the model chosen, the tread can be varied between 18 cm and 22 cm or 22 cm and 26 cm, and the rise can be varied between 17 cm and 23.5 cm. An overall height of 373 cm can be achieved through the optional addition of further steps. The steps are made of solid polished beech and the prefab-
ricated components of powder-coated metal are available in black, white or grey. The handrail of aluminium and polyurethane is black, as are the other accessories. It is possible to order additional steps as well as external railings and balustrade kits for a “customised” result.

Eliminating condensation on mirrors
“StopVapor” is a new demisting system for mirrors that is designed to eliminate condensation on bathroom mirrors after showering or bathing. The product is especially suitable for bathrooms with limited ventilation and consists of a heating resistor in a self-adjusting foil. The heating foil is self-adhesive and easily affixed to the back of the mirror. A distance of a centimetre between the wall and the mirror is sufficient for the power cable. The foil is supplied in three sizes, 16.4 x 28 cm (8 W), 28.5 x 28 cm (16 W) und 41 x 28 cm (24 W), but other sizes can be made to order. “StopVapor” conforms to the European safety standard EN 60335 and bears the CE-mark.

Sturdy cupboards
The Praktiko cupboard kits from Pro Metal are easy to assemble: all that is required is a screwdriver. These sturdy cupboards are made of rolled sheet steel and powder-coat finished. They are supplied in a choice of grey, white or red and come in handy packaging. They are suitable for use in the home, office, school or sports centre.
New versions of the models All-Surfaces, a cupboard for household use with five shelves, High Broom and the mini cupboards are now available. All these models are 100 cm wide and 40 cm deep. Whereas All-Surfaces and High Broom come in a height of 175 cm, the mini cupboards are 80 cm high.
