Slump in fasteners and fixings sector

The fasteners and fixings market is suffering from depressed conditions all over the world at present. This is the assessment made by Peter Draper, managing director of the specialist exhibition F & F Expo (Fasteners & Fixings) that was held in Brussels on 25 and 26 September 2002. In a poll of exhibitors, 86 per cent described current market conditions as “poor”, with no signs of recovery anticipated until late 2003.
